ACC students and staff visit the Texas Capitol for meetings with state senators and representatives on Community College Day, on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.

Public Affairs

ACC’s Office of Public Affairs builds and oversees relationships that strengthen partnerships within our community and governmental agencies. Our work is focused on ensuring public policy aligns well with the college’s mission to provide open access to higher education to all Central Texans who seek it. We support community-based organizations, work closely with lawmakers and community leaders, and serve as the college’s primary liaison to Board-appointed regional advisory committees.
